Instruments for Chinese Cooking

Cleavers, chopping block, spatula, strainers, wok, pan,casserole, cauldron, colander, pot or mated colander pot and steamer are basic instruments from which a wide variety of delicious foods can be made using roasting, frying, steaming or stewing techiques.  Other tools such as a wooden bar rolling dumplings, a sifter, hand mixer, whisk, vegetables knife, meat knife, kitchen scissors, egg piercer are also employed in making Chinese snacks.
